Pastor Steve Kihlthau was saved at the age of six and called to preach at the age of twelve. He was brought up in a Christian home where his father was a Pastor and Church Planter as well.
Pastor Kihlthau spent fifteen years in the business world in the retail and insurance sales business (before becoming a Pastor) which gives him special insight and experience that most other Pastors do not have.
Pastor Kihlthau has an earned Bachelor Degree in Theology and a Master’s Degree in Ministry.
He has a heart for people along with other Pastors and Church Planters which is evident in his personal commitment and availability to help other Pastors and Churches.

A Special Welcome
Greetings from my lovely wife, Linda, and myself as together with our four children planted Stockton Baptist Church over twenty-nine years ago.
It has been and continues to be our privilege to minister to so many people who have trusted the Lord as their Saviour and have a growing desire to become more like Jesus Christ. Our greatest privilege is to minister to the lost of our communities and neighborhoods by spreading the Gospel of the Good News of Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a Church that loves and cares for people, Stockton Baptist Church is the Church for you.
We have many ministries for all ages from newborn babies and their parents to seniors in retirement. Every individual matters to God and to us.
Our Church is strategically located right next to Highway 99 and Hammer Lane to reach many people from many areas of our City and County. We are easily accessible to thousands of people. Will you give us an opportunity to demonstrate to you and your family the love of Christ?
